The firm

Trethowans, one of The Times Best Law Firms 2023, and one of the 100 Great Places to Work 2023, was named as one of the UK’s fastest growing independent law firms (The Lawyer) and offers a comprehensive range of services for businesses and individual clients. It has more than 250 members of staff, including over 80 lawyers and 45 partners, who act for many international and national household brand names (including Jewson, Ladbrokes, Pizza Hut and Nandos to name a few) and a variety of individual clients throughout the UK. The department

The property issues facing farmers and land owners are diverse and often complex, impacting on both businesses and families. The agricultural sector is burdened with ever-increasing regulations. For that reason we have a team of agricultural law specialists providing a comprehensive service. Our agricultural law solicitors advise farmers and other rural land owners on managing their business, family affairs, succession planning and other related country issues.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our expanding Agriculture and Rural Property Team based in our Salisbury Office.

The successful candidate will have previous legal secretarial experience, ideally working within property teams.

This is a busy and demanding role which requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to produce a high volume of work. Good interpersonal skills together with the ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent client service are essential to this role.

Equal opportunities

Trethowans is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment. This means that everyone who either applies to or works for the Firm is treated equally, whatever their gender, age, ethnic origin, nationality, marital status, disability, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.
