The department

Trethowans have been looking after families of all generations for many years. We offer a wide range of professional advice and practical support. Our wills, trusts and probate team specialises in preserving wealth for individuals, couples and families through wills and inheritance tax planning.

The role

We are looking for a Tax and Trusts Administrator to join our Private Client Team.

The successful candidate will have previous tax and trust experience and the ability to undertake the following:

  • To prepare tax returns and accounts
  • To supervise more junior members in tax and trust administration and compliance
  • To deal with the TRS
  • To prepare trust documentation such as deeds of appointment, deeds changing trustees, resolutions and minutes
  • To comply with SRA reconciliation rules
  • To manage trusts on a day to day basis

This is a busy and demanding role which requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to produce a high volume of work. Good interpersonal skills together with the ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent client service are essential to this role.
