Trethowans now operates out of six locations, with offices in Salisbury, Southampton, Poole, Bournemouth and Winchester as well as a serviced office in London.

The department

The Corporate & Commercial Team at Trethowans is highly regarded and provides advice across a wide range of business sectors. Our clients include individuals and SMEs through to major financial institutions and household names such as Ladbrokes, Jewson (part of the Saint-Gobain Group) and Lush Cosmetics.

We advise on the full remit of legal issues which affect businesses during their lifecycle including in respect of the following practice areas:

- company, limited liability partnership and partnership formations and company secretarial services

- commercial contracts (e.g. supply of goods/services agreements and IT agreements)

- corporate governance & regulation (e.g. advice regarding the Companies Act)

- banking & finance

- corporate transactions (e.g. share/business sales/purchases and investments)

The role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our busy Corporate Team based in our Southampton  or Bournemouth Office, on a full time basis.

This is a busy and demanding role which requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to produce a high volume of work. Good interpersonal skills together with the ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent client service are essential to this role.
